ITALIAN GAY OPEN 2010

Starting from Thursday September 2nd and concluding with the finals on Sunday September 5th, the 12th of ITALIAN GAY OPEN will be held. It will take place in Milan on the venues of Tennis Club Corvetto, on semi-indoors red clay courts, according to GLTA and FIT (Italian Tennis Federation) rules.

It will include the following divisions:

Open  : highly advanced tournament players;
A : advanced tournament players;
B : high intermediate tournament players;
C : low intermediate and beginning tournament players
D : beginning players with little tournament experience.

Singles and doubles draws will be set up for each of the above mentioned divisions. Should a draw not reach the minimum number of participants (at least 4 players), its players will be moved to the upper divisions according to GLTA rules.
Regarding woman's draws, if a draw doesn't receive at least 4 entries, its players will be moved to male draws on level below the woman's level of the players.

Draws are the following:

Men’s singles, Women’s singles, Men’s doubles and Mixed doubles.

It's possible to register to a maximum of 2 events!!

Timetable
Play will begin on Thursday, September 3rd in the morning so please take into consideration when you book your flights / organise the trip to Milano.
